My Syrian sheikh said that the strongest opinion is that Hawa the wife of Adam عليه السلام had twins sets of twins and each set could marry from another set but that two twins from the same set were forbidden to marry. This is because Adam عليه السلام carried all the racial and DNA variants in his genes as did Hawa and so each set of twins were distant enough genetically to negate the harm of close and inbreeding. This answer is very very clever and makes a lot of sense! Who else thinks so? Barakallah feekum 😊

Though it's rare to see someone make successful nuanced and closed metaphors like this without being at least well read in the debates and reasoning of the people of mantiq and aqliyat.
