Tito J here! Thanks for the question. While we generally rely on our Fibr at home, we use the pocket WiFi or the WiFi Prepaid Kit as a backup. Okay naman for video calls. Consistent naman for video calls although we haven't really tried for long zoom meetings either. Streaming Netflix shows wasn't a prob though.

useful tip. if you have a midrange or old flagship phone na di nyo nagagamit, use that kesa bilhin to. mas makkatipid kayo. check gsm arena to check the modem ng device nyo for theoritical speeds and most offer 30 or more, same as this. the 5g sim dito that they are using as a marketing tool. ang nagpapabilis sa modem na to is carrier aggregation, not 5g kasi 4g lang ang modem na to. also before buying this device bili ka smart sim and use it on your phone. pag maganda signal you can use this. note na if you have a midrange or flagship phone anuman speed ng smart sa bahay nyo e same na makukuha nyo with this device

@@jerickat8587 Same thought. Most Smart promos are not worth it, if not bitin, but seems faster imo. While Globe has great sulit offers, but its slow/weak signal is a letdown.

I am sorry to pop balloons here. Lessons learned for me, Smart and Globe. Never ever buy ISP locked pocket wifi or wireless modem routers ESPECIALLY dead spot ang area, room, or house nyo kasi magko crawl ang device sa kakahanap ng signal. Hihi. Maka connect man, putol putol ang connection sooner or later. I use debranded, openline modem routers, and even TP Link 4G LTE router, and I get better connection now. I also rely on outdoor MIMO antenna. I use regular LTE SIMs, and I couldn't be this happier because I get stronger signal now, and less downtime at work because I work from home. I might use ISP locked devices provided I use corpo SIM para sure ako magka stronger signal. Those previous versions of pocket wifis sold by Globe and Smart are nandoon sa baul, at ipamigay ko na mga iyon soon sa gustong tyagaan ito. Napaka forgettable ng experience ko sa mga ISP locked devices.

Yeah it is applicable. However the speed cap is around 100mbps. While in 5G Network the speed is around 100mbps above. So you can expect that it would be less than 100mbps.

No. One factor why we can't achive true 4G is because there are many people who uses 4G not to mention the lack of cell sites. If more people were to use 5G, there is possibilty that 4G network will get higher bandwidth and thus faster internet. This is what i think. Even though 5G is no doubt way faster than 4G, it uses more data and thus costs more if we're talking about mobile internet. It's a win-win for telcos but i am not sure about the consumer, unless it will cost cheaper.
