Yeah! It’s especially great when you’re housesitting and find out through a KZbin video the petfeeder has been recording audio and video in the 35 square m apartment. Which.. is against the law 😜 but undeniably great if you live in the house yourself… I guess.

I literally can’t even connect it. The manual says to press the reset button. But on the merchandise, there is no reset button.

I've changed 2of those things! At the end of the day you have to make sure you have a model suitable for your wifi (2.4 is not good for you if you have a faster connection like 5Ghz at home). Reset doesn't exist, you have to press "set". They are all the same with the same problems... And, in any case, you can't connect via app but you have to log in your modem and let the feeder access the wifi.

@@C-Lowes unfortunately not. Couldn’t get it to start. Had fresh batteries etc. but the app wouldn’t connect to the feeder. Only really worked with it being plugged in

Honestly this seems like this apparatus is overkill for such a simple task.

I actually like it with everything going into the smart home direction why not have your pet feeder be smart as well, one cool feature which I am seeing my self using is the monitor and two way audio, and the scheduled feedings just makes sure my pet is getting the right amount of food when needed , I wish the camera was facing down a tiny bit more to see the actual food going in the bowl or a wide camera would have been a much better option.

Not for our cat who has hyperthyroid disease and cancer so he thinks he is hungry ALL the time and we have to spread his feeding out 3x a day to keep him satisfied....AND he is on a diet. Plus our dog eats cat poop so we have our spare room as a cat room with a baby gate across the doorway to keep our dog from getting in the cat box. We both work with changing schedules so we plan our day around his feedings climbing over the gate MANY times a day. I think an auto feeder may help us out a lot.
