A Smart Roadster Brabus is for collectors. A Smart Roadster is for drivers. Sure, the Brabus car is prepared by a great luxury brand, is a little more efficient, well equiped and has a better good looking, but for twice as much money as a 82HP Roadster. Does the Brabus work twice as well ? Of course not. On track, the Brabus is heavier, and a light 82HP model beats it si easily. It's up to you. Great vidéo ;-)

My compliments for this video. I have three Roadster Coupes, all Black Jack. Two of those are Brabus versions. But there were more versions of the Brabus available at the end. I owe two of them: One is a Brabus Final Edition, so it came with all the performances but totally basic, so no side skirts, no heated seats, no silver trimings in the leather panels, a RED button on the shifter saying only "start" in white, so without the Brabus logo, a leather handbrake without the word "Brabus" instead of the aluminium one and so on. My other Brabus Coupe is the Xclusiv. That was the full option version you described. Also good to know: Later Brabus versions had special painted headlight covers that have ribs to avoid being blinded by the reflection of light in the painted covers. (that's why standard roadsters have uncolored covers: painting them wasn't allowed by the MOT because of the danger blinding other drivers ).

Vor vielen Jahren waren wir mit 6 smart roadstern im Schwarzwald unterwegs (dabei entstand auch mein Titelbild). Einer hatte einen Brabus und am Mittag erzählte er, dass er nicht schneller fahren könne, als wir anderen mit unseren 'nomalen' roadstern. WIr waren 6 Ingenieure bei smart und überlegten, an was das liegen könne. Der Brabus ist zwar 19 PS stärker, aber auch fast 200 kg schwerer. Da ist es kein Wunder, wenn er nahezu gleich schnell ist. Es ist also reine Geschmacksache, welchen man wählt.

If you got the money for a Brabus you always want to get the top spec. If not, get the base model 😁

Nice video , quite happy , with my Brabus , smiles per mile , also tried a chipped 80 hp to 100 hp a bit more comfortable on 17 inch wheels and softer suspension .😉

Verzija of 60kW trosi od 4,5-8L Odrzavanje je sirok pojam, ako je auto u dobrom stanju (ne najjeftiniji na oglasniku) onda je godisnje odrzavanje tipa mali servis oko 100€, tehnicki i registracija 300€

I had a smart roadster for two years and my take is, although it's great fun to drive, the quality is crap. There's ALWAYS something going wrong with it. In the end, I had to get rid of it because it was literally rotting from the inside out....

Well, It all depends how previous owner take care of it. Most mechanics don’t do Roadsters and people who buy them are not able to do maintenance by themselves.
