13:10 I have a really funny example of this. Mobile Suit Gundam in 1979 had the name in both English and Japanese, even though the first series to get dubbed for an English audience was in 2000 with 1995's Gundam Wing. (And since they had abandoned both languages in the same logo with Zeta (1985) and onwards, they had to make new logo for pretty much every dub they did.)

If you want to selfpublish (the easier and more accessable way) great places are lulu.com and createspace. I'm not entirely sure, but I think Apple Black is published by using createspace. Either way, those are very good options to consider! :)

Hey Whytmanga, just wanna ask if you could maybe do a tutorial on how to draw hairstyles (in particular girl hairstyles). I'm really interested in starting making my own character designs (eventually my own story) and I'm starting with the female character. I've fallen in love with both Faye Valentines character and looks from the Cowboy Bebop anime and am trying to create one inspired by her, not copy. It's really hard. I'm asking you because you're good at explaining and your art feels close to mine. But hey, this might be a kind of selfish request... :b Good video btw, keep up the good work !

Would you say it's helpful to also maybe make a font of whatever you may use for the logo? I'd be tempted to make as many letters, numbers and punctuation marks for it as I can and that would take a lot of work knowing that maybe 1/3 may not ever be used.

the naruto logo is with the dark blue shadow behind it with darker colors. the shippuden logo has a black shadow and it has brighter colors with the shipuden on it, plus the letters are a lot sharper and more ridged at the ends, subtle changes at best.

I was thinking on making my logo traditionally because I was also going to draw the cover photo traditionally. Is this a bad idea? I know mine is going to be a novel and not a graphic novel, but I think the same advice will still apply...

Teru Kisuke it's a smart idea and most graphic novelist and mangakas do it traditionally and edit it digitally anyway so go for it. ^^

my logos are perfect, they match the art and everything but I hand draw my logos and they look the same every time. the only thing that I'd change about it is the numbering and pictures for the front pages.

Oraexe Says Hey not really 10 minutes later, more like 5 years of looking back at the comics done in the past and legit calling it DOODOO and complete trash over and over while reading the unorganized incoherent plot and to top it off the art was trash, charecters are trash, charecter design is the typical bootleg sasuke outfit with a different charecter in it. The worst thing about it is that I can't get anything else published until they finish the trash that I put out and put it on shelves, it sucks hard. That's pretty much what I mean by not being able to put out any good work (in terms of art that is) story is still a little broken, and I'm a dressing the broken things about it and connecting everything together, fixing mistakes with design and looks as in having something In their hand and it disappearing in the next page, and going back to fix it. Every comic takes a year to make and I criticize my own work and try to build upon that and make something even better. The struggle is real.

As much as I love your art, and your Whyt Manga logo, I really, really, really don't like your Apple Black logo, for some reason the proportions seem off on almost everything. The Whyt Manga logo does a lot of things right, it's simple, and well proportioned.
