If it doesn't appear | open your laptop and open the settings and type "projection setting" if the projection setting isn't available You need to type on setting again "Add an optional feature" then add the "Wireless Display" then go back to the "Projection setting" then it should be working fine. if you will use it again next time and when you opened it its not available again, you will just have to wait and it will be available again. | | I hope this is helpfull |

Some laptops don't have miracast-compatible hardware, so it won't show no matter how hard you try, because it's not a software problem.

go to your laptop, settings ..search ....apps and features ... once your in there click optional features. Your going to look on list... for wireless display. If you do not see it go to the top where it says ADD A FEATURE... TYPE AND download the wireless display(you may have to type wireless display. It will take a minute to download! Once it's downloaded... go to your settings again and type in PROJECTING TO THIS PC... CHANGE the settings to... 1) AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE 2) FIRST TIME ONLY 3) NEVER REQUIRE A PIN 4) TOGGLE IT FROM ON TO OFF ABOUT BEING PLUGGED IN AFTER COMPLETING ON TOP OF SETTINGS YOULL SEE A BLUE SENTENCE... LAUCH THE CONNECT APP TO PROJECT TO THIS PC AND IT SHOULD WORK. I KNOW THIS IS 11 MONTHS LATER BUT I HOPE IT HELPS SOMEONE
