01:28 But $2,000 / week for 55 kVA generator diesel fuel for a swimming pool = pure insanity ! People are supposed to be consuming less, polluting less, and treading more lightly on the planet. I don't care how rich you might be, everyone should be doing this ! I certainly am. Yes, for sure people can spend their hard-earned money on whatever they want, but burning $2,000 of fuel a week for a swimming pool --- this is a disgusting waste of fuel / resources. I am so happy this is being converted to solar + battery. It's a great start. They could and should do more to reduce pool energy use. eg. even putting a retractable cover (like a big wind out tarp) over the pool when not in use can prevent a lot of heat loss (and reduce pool chemical usage).

Sick setup! I wanted to understand how the communication system worked. Presume they have rs485 to be able to sync each other in real time. @21:00 Is there an API so I don't have to use their app to integrate them into my own custom home automation system?

@@b-aralte2174 Glen is on the committee that make our Aussie standards, I expect all inverter/battery manufacturers to cough up the dirt for us to create our own private HV grids.

Very interesting products. I could sure use a bunch of Sigenergy's batteries and a gateway here at my house ... I have a grid connected solar system with excess solar capacity that I want to use to charge batteries and power my house at night. Also want to add bi-directional EV charging / battery use. And export excess house and EV battery to the grid at night (or when I want).
