Due to the shells being low-pressure charged rounds, it is not suited to be used in a semi-automatic or automatic shotgun as it does not produce enough recoil energy to cycle the automated action, causing the mechanism to fail to cycle.

@@novemberalpha6023 this ammo , will work in a cobray streetsweepr 12 ga , a 12 shot double action revolver type action shot gun (note this mentioned arm is is a BATF destructive devise and is subject to same vetting as a machine gun ) many , mine included , were registered after legit over the counter cash and carry purchase under a later BATF rulling and grace amnesty .. CAUTION all said shot guns are illegal to to be sold and transferred with out said BATF paperwork and registration !

I found these on an ammunition site and mine are on the way, but I had to get an idea of what to expect. My conclusion is these spectacular shells have so many applications from holiday celebrations for a really new and unique twist on fireworks as well as home defense for those ones who use specific hair treatments and like to rob and burglarize.

Does the shells actually contain pellets like an ordinary shell or is it just all flashy and lightly uppy fireworks in it?

they can can and they cant it depends on the type you get, I'm guessing these don't because if there is pellets there would be less fire and you wouldn't want to accidentally shoot your camera. If there are not pellets in it its uses are 1 for fun 2 to scare away animals

I've got a buddy who loaded up some 12ga shells with a homemade napalm mix. They achieve a similar result to this, but the fire clings and maintains a steady burn for five or ten seconds. They're pretty fantastic.

Do Bo -__- The guy's allowed to have a little fun every once in a while, don't you think? I'm a photographer, so it was pretty inspiring to see such sick long exposure shots. For me, it was a fun video that inspired me. This guy knows what he's doing. If you've watched any other of Destin's videos, you'd know that he's not an idiot, nor is he reckless. Notice how his friend shoots at angle towards the sky. He did this so that the camera could capture the fall of the sparks through the air, and also so that the sparks could cool off before hitting the ground. Don't gripe when he posts stuff that isn't totally focused on teaching you something, just move along instead. We all know this video obviously wasn't intended for learning purposes, and we don't care. It's a cool video.

Wasn't making an argument against you there. Now that a think about it, there could be a few ways to do a break away shell that ignites a fraction of a second after the gunpowder triggers it. Expensive and complex, but it would allow it to clear the barrel safely.
