Japan has tornadoes btw. In fact, look up the infamous legendary Fire Tornado following the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. 👀

@@0990ftn True. Typhoons may drop one or two but it's very very rare. The legendary fire tornado was also a freak accident. Think I'd take tornadoes over earthquakes any day though. Easier to recover from if you make it out when it's just your house and not the ground under it. o-o

10:56 Yes, lightnings can still happen even in the bright sunny days like that. Good news is it's very rare, bad news is the current is usually fatal.

11:00 Unfortunately Lighting out of clear blue sky is one of the most dangerous things to happen in the vicinity of Thunderstorms. Lightning can travel a great number of "insert unit of measure for distance here" before falling to earth. I once, many moons ago, heard of a case of someone being in the wrong/right spot some 30 odd km away from the outer edge of a medium strength thunderstorm system and he got clapped real bad …

if i remember correctly from science class, lightning is the result of excessive air friction causing an alignment of electrons (which tends to happen between cold and warm air masses), you don't necessarily need clouds to have lightning

As an Alaskan, we do not have tornadoes but BOY can we get earthquakes. Ring of Fire and all that. And they totally can absolutely destroy your house, btw, the 64 earthquake in Anchorage did NUMBERS But you're still cute, so it's okay

"why would you splash someone with snow like that" You can tell people that say this don't drive. We don't CHOOSE to do this. Where i live it doesn't snow, but the same thing applies to rain water. When you're driving, you're making snap decisions, judgments constantly, and you have seconds at most to do it. Water on the ground or a pile of snow, just looks like everything we've been driving through all day. There aren't indicators that some water is especially deep. There's no warning that this patch of snow will fly out everywhere. Most of the time it's just not something we can see quickly. Even if we do see it, it's not always safe to slow down so nothing splashes, and that's assuming that even works. You can drive slowly and it still splashes a lot. You can't just suddenly hit the brakes in the SNOW or the rain, because someone walking MIGHT get sprayed. It's slippery as hell, so if you just stop suddenly you can lose control or you can brake check someone behind you. The dryness of you is YOUR problem. You are the one walking on the sidewalk, so you are the one that can see puddles and snow piles well ahead of time and with total control how close you get to it. If you care so much, go around it. You can even stop and wait until traffic slows down. You can sprint past it. Have an umbrella, shield up. It's not my job to look out for your dryness. This is during the day btw, it goes ten fold at NIGHT, like holy shit i do not care if you get wet, I have FAR more important things to pay attention to.

Hi there, wherever you live, you are fucked up. You are not safe from any natural disaster. And with Earthquake, if its strong enough, you wouldnt be even safe in Japan or anywhere else too. I live in Philippines and we had many Earthquake back then, in April few Years ago we had more then 20 on 1 Day in so 5 and 10 Minutes apart and in the Middle there was such a heavy Earthquake, it scared the shit out of me. We had a Car stand in the Yard and the Car jumped in the back like a rubber ball very high. Hell that was scary, maybe it was so strong so between 7 and 8, and near Bridge and some Houses got damage as far as i can remember.

In Japan you can't own a gun and I can't fight so I need it 😅. 13:50 even a average squirrel is dangerous just look up random squirrel attacks and see the injuries they can do.
