If you didn't mention the substrate, I wouldn't have even noticed. The fish are so beautiful, and they are the largest focal point in the aquarium. That's my dream Tank size the 300 to 350 gallon aquarium. Would you recommend acrylic over glass for a tank that size? All your tanks are beautiful!

Thank you, acrylic at this size is so much lighter than glass, it only took two guys to move it vs glass that probably would need 6 or more guys. For that reason I'd choose acrylic over glass, just be very careful when cleaning algae from the panels because its scratches very easily

Hey Darius , It's definitely an EZ 8 !!! Tanks are always so healthy and interesting in every area, especially like the way you hand selected the hardscape . That reminds me of something Cory had brought up over some of the recent Aquarium CO-OP short video's which are just really condensed from some older videos , like the one showing how to start the siphon + techniques on the gravel vacuum !!! Have you ever considered something like that? You totally could do that with the video where you went to look for driftwood and so many other GREAT videos that might be a good idea to make a good short and see if it is worth it??? ♤♡◇♧

I am from india, i loved to see a beautiful vieja collection. Soul satisfied, i have multiple verities of vieja in collection also. I feed them 3 types of hikari food And shrimp once a week. Regarding your American tank I think it looks great. I’d suggest adding 1-2 inches of garden soil and 6 inches of sand on top. Then plant heavily with hearty plants halfway into the sand.
