Well the West is responsible for almost all current modern inventions and commodities as we know them because it encourages knowledge and education... what else do you expect?

Yeah, what about Narinder Singh Kapani? Well, he could easily replace Jane Goodall. If they want to "monkey" around with this list then they should add Francine "Penny" Patterson also instead of Sir Issac Newton, or Nikola Tesla because she taught Koko the gorilla sign language. If a "genius" like Jane is one of the greatest minds in history then this list makes no sense at all just because of her name being on it. You know the saying "one bad apple can spoil the bunch." The bad apple on this list is Jane. The future is going to be more screwed up than it is already going to be without a braniac like Jane. We all know that hanging out with animals is way more important than using your brain to make the world more understandable and better for future generations. All that Jane did was add another species to the list of animals that should not be in zoos. There is a very good reason why Mark Zuckerberg isn't on this list because he added to the problems this planet is facing in the future. In fact, Mark and other social media, and video game inventing morons, are going down in history on the list of people who helped screw the future up for future generations with their "inventions."
