I see no people making an animal based game from scratch with locomotion and distance matching and game logic. if you make it in the future we are in right away. thank you for all the tutorials.

Love these type of videos. It's a great exercise for newbies (even pros) in game development to see what they can come up with, instead of throwing money at the problem (i.e. buying assets).

That's pretty cool! Noticed that you were having a lot fun with this! Would like to see more of this type of content.

Honestly this right here gave me even more hope for the game I am trying to build I just got to give myself time and use the free assets they give. also this was an amazing video and crazy enough to say but the gameplay look decent better then most indie games like the day before I think it was called.

this is incredible for a 24 hour project, you are truly a master of your craft!, like some other peeps have said in the comments, a tutorial of this project would be awesome! srsly I have spent countless hours in UE trying to get something 10x less than this and I haven't been able to so this is both motivating and frustrating lol! thank you for your videos, they are always the highlight of my days when they show up

You always have Top-Tier Tutorials most other tutorials I see on youtube are long, drawn out, and barely teach me anything.
@TheRopiak2 ай бұрын
I know its popular to do the 24 hour or one week builds but I wouldn't hate to see a little more time put into something. So we can see more into the process and maybe more expanded workflows in UE5. Most 24 hour videos seem building the exact same prototypes as each other.

for those of you that dont know, this guy makes the bestblue print tutorials for beginners. I have been messing with unreal engine for months now with minimal tutorials off of the videos I watched from this guy. I have not gottten his paid class but I honestly think it would be a good investment. Keep up the great work, man.

6:40 I feel like because the Eagles talons are folded you could have made it to were when you pressed the mount button the eagle would swoop down and grab you with its talons and you would be holding on its talons as you fly. This would be pretty difficult to add but if the would be a actual game with updates and everything like that this feature would be very cool.😁

Thanks for giving motivation for creating a game even from scratch. you are awsome.

This reminds me that mod for Skyrim that a spell send the enemies fly up and die from falling damage. If I can only do like half of this on my own, I will be creating stuff all day.

A tutorial about this game would be great, thx for all your effort. I like this kind of prototyping a small game, you can put special game mechanics in perspective that way. I make simple games for people who have multiple handicaps, so I like this format. THX again !!!..

I can never knock anything like this out because I go, well this damage should be using the GAS plugin so I can expand it and add new abilities and stuff. Then I get lost in the sauce trying to learn how to use that and never get anything done. Or, I go, I want the damage to be applied on hit instead of a volume and I start learning about weapong collision, which then gets me trying to play sounds on hit that change depending on the material hit. Basically, I get lost in trying to do things 'fancy' instead of just getting them to work and then iterating on it later
@SmartPoly10 күн бұрын
yeah, a lot of devs have this problem. You as a solo developer need to make a decision of whether or not to use GAS, or to just make your own system. GAS technically is designed for medium to large studios. For teams of people to work together. From my own experience, if you keep thinking about how you’re going to do it, or get lost in alternative ways of implementation, you will get nothing done. You have to balance your time and implementation and be realistic on what you as a solo developer can achieve. Don’t place unrealistic expectations on yourself or compare your output to that of an AAA studio.
@ShiniGaming-r8s10 күн бұрын
@@SmartPoly True True. Do you have content or resources out there on strategies to structure your projects assets in a way that they can be easily exported into another project? I'm thinking along the lines of, make an inventory system in project A then I can export it and use it in all my future projects

@keagancaldeira67402 ай бұрын
Im making an editor plugin that allows you to plan a project inside the engine like the paid for version of better blueprints but using mind maps. Essentially allowing you to create a gdd insed the engine. As well as having a panel that you can design something like a admin panel but you can design it for more than just game dev . Do you think something like this would sell
