Personally, my number one struggle was staying focused. I had other hobbies at the time that I’ve now put aside to focus on my writing. Also, as simple as this may sound. Take small breaks. I’ve always found coming back to a verse or bar with a clear mind can introduce that fresh atmosphere that doesn’t exists if we constantly try to rush our work. Music takes times. Write. Every. Day.

When you start rapping, you traditionally start off sounding like your influences or your favorite artist. But once you create more and more music, you start developing your own style and your own flows that completely separate you from that artist. So my best advice would be to just keep making music and while on your journey, try to single out what makes you -- you🙌
