Smartsheet 'Plan on a Page' demo: creating engaging summary timelines

The purpose of this video is to demonstrate how you can create a summary timeline to show on a dashboard that enables stakeholders and team members to quickly and easily engage with the key headlines of a timeplan and avoid getting lost in or disengaged by the detail of a 100 or 1000 line timeplan.
I have always found having a summary timeline, otherwise known as a Plan on a Page, to be a key engagement tool with stakeholders and team members alike to ensure they can always see the bigger picture. However, this has invariably meant hours recreating a project plan or gantt chart into a more visually engaging powerpoint slide. This then needs updating when timings change. It’s so valuable, it’s been worth the effort.
But that was before I started using Smartsheet. So let me show you how I now do this in Smartsheet and avoid all that wasted time.

Thank you - I've always wanted a way to create a summary plan without having to recreate it as I've spent so many hours in the past tweaking summary plans in Powerpoint and updating them to be in line with my project plan. I had high hopes for the summary plan in MS Project when it was first released, but it wasn't anywhere near as effective as I had hoped, so I was excited when I came up with this having moved across to Smartsheet
