it's not a soke alarm that is why it is not bleeping when near the smokey fire ! it is a Carbon monoxide alarm and it works when the exhaust fumes hit it .

This is not how to test it. Grab a Bulky scale, and light up a match. Put the CO2 alarm device under the transparant bulky scale with a tiny opening on your sink in the kitchen (on the edge of the sink). When the match is on fire and it stops, put the match in that tiny opening. And the unburned fuel reaches the device. Within 3 minutes the device has to sound the alarm at least 85 Decibel.

if you are confusing co2 with co its a problem some fire extinguishers are filled with co2 no fire extinguisher is ever filled with carbon monoxide !!! alarms sold at store ususally requirements ask for a co alarm not a co2 alarm

@@SuperPakalja carbon dioxide is heavier than air,, but we talking about carbon monoxide////the density of a gas is a function of pressure and the size(weight) of the molecule. 22.4 liters of a gas at 1 atmosphere and about room temperature is the sum of the weight of the atoms (atomic weight in grams) so nitrogen (14+14) is 28 oxygen (16+16) is 32 Nitrogen is 80% of the air and oxygen is 20% round numbers carbon monoxide is (12+16) is 28 just like nitrogen so carbon monoxide is a bit lighter than air. But all 3 mix easily and as diffusion occurs the carbon monoxide should fit right in... beacuse they mix so well it really doesnt matter where you put the detector

yup you cant trust cheap things rather give a lit more money for your life the divice is very late to alarm it i dont trust this divice it comes from aldi or lidl thanks for the video

Yeah cause it takes time for the reading to show before the alarm goes off. It usually takes 15 minutes to 20 minutes approx it depends
