man that is a nice truck, I have a new gasser ram but I want an older 5.9 as I loved my 6.4 but the thing even in stock form was some what of a headache with considerably low miles for a 10 year old diesel. I was wondering though why you guys don't brag about the torque figures more??? I don't neccesarily need 1200 ft lbs but towing my 6k pound boat around through the rolling hills of Texas I want something that isn't going to need to down shift all the time. also with a stock driving type of set up what type of mileage were you getting just driving around in the video like that. thanks.

Would this still be the same setup for this truck with the NV5600? I recently got ahold of a 1 owner 2001 3500 with 77K..only mod was an exhaust brake. I’d love to do a clean setup like this on it and film the progress of the build.

The VP reference is referring to the VP44, the injection pump. Otherwise known as the special child of the Cummins world in these trucks. The VP44 is an electronically controlled injection pump, that is 1: expensive to replace, and 2: not very mod able. Very few mods for power here, other than this tuning box they have. It has potential, but it's not easy as the first or third gen dodges. It is however more fuel efficient
