TUNING A STOCK CUMMINS 400HP

Hey Josh. Got my tuning done from Vannest performance just like you. James is awesome and got my tuning done the same day and all I can say is wow. Truck HAULS ASS! Stock transmission doesn't like it but still amazing. Cool dude my age, knows his shit. Explained to me what he did and if I had any question or needed revisions they are all free! Thanks for referring him. PS the single event tune he hooked me up with is niiiiiiiiiiiiccccccccccccceeeeeeeee :).

Love all your videos and it really helped when rebuilding my trans. Got all the parts from sunco and borg and now have a trans that should be good to 1000 hp but since it's only a tow rig it should be fine plan on compound turbos later but for now an mm3 works to boost it for the heavy loads behind it topping out at 45k total just a bit on the heavy side but these things tow like champs not issues 125k on the clock all stock except cold air mbrp 5" straight and one piece aluminium shaft. And soon an mm3 I bet it'll be putting down around 500 horse any guesses from anyone. 🤠

What’s your thoughts on the block out fuel relief adapter? How do you test the relief valve/fitting?

I didn't realize u made a channel. I been watching all these 3rd gen vids. I got a 3rd gen myself and Monday I'll have a sxe369 from smeding to drop in and I just put exotic head studs in to.

that is fricking impressive from a bone stock engine I personally for diesels don't really care how much horsepower it makes its all about the torque and it made 500 or so without the tune but with the final tune it made 800+ that's just insane

Great video! Was there a particular reason you went with them for the tuning? Was it a sponsor sort of thing? Looking forward to the trouble shooting to see what the high return rate is, or if it is multiple things at 300k miles. My 05 with 300k doesn't have the long crank like that, makes me wonder if the injectors have been replaced on mine. Definitely makes me want to take mine to a dyno now to see what she makes. Keep up the great content. Meyer on the hp guesses..... spot on!
