This was an amazing showcase. The plants felt more basic as it would be expected but they were nicely translated from their origin game to a platform fighter setting which made them still cool to see. The assist trophies were the standouts of this showcase for me, being a nice mixture of odd choices with simple ideas that become really interesting and funny to see in action. An overall great selection and looking forward for what comes next!

I'd like to mention again how much I love the Seed Packets being the equivalent of pokeballs in your lawl. It's such a good idea, and I loved seeing each of the plants in action. The assist trophies are also pretty good... here's some highlights from me: -Yummo Wickersham's a pretty fun assist in general. He has reached a point of power where he doesn't need his two monkey men to load him up anymore -Bawsah's a simple assist, but the way he attacks still somehow got a solid laugh out of me. -I'm not as educated on Vinesauce lore, but Santa's a pretty fun assist too. -Mario Eh Eh Eh is a funny idea... I just kinda wish you incorporated the other dances/motions he did in the video instead of him just doing that first walk... And I think him voring someone would've made him perfect. But those are just personal nitpicks. -I really love Half-Off oscar too. Cyanide and Happiness reps are always a W for me. -I normally dislike Nintendog style assists... but Ooga Booga's funny and is from a series I like. So she gets a pass. -The imitator looks like a really fun plant to use. Overall, really good job on this. The volume was very much worth the wait.

At long last, Lawlers Mod is back with the long awaited Seed Packets and Assist Trophies video. There's a lot to unpack here, so I'll start with our main headliners. For as long as Lawl has existed, it's rather understandable that we've never really had a Poke Ball like item until now, as there aren't really a lot of franchises represented in that could pull that off. Thankfully for us, this Lawl had had a popular franchise that does give you many different species that could make up for a wide variety of possibilities. Its cool seeing how you've adapted the Plants abilities into a Smash like setting, with the last one being favorite of this batch. As for the assist trophies, I knew we'd have some fun unexpected choices, and you did not disappoint here. Highlights here included Grenade Gregory, Tankman, Captain Magma, Hoopla, Heavy, Fishy Boopkins, and Mario (eh eh eh). Really hyped to see the second batch of fighters, as there are a lot of exciting picks here. And excited for echoes as well, though the only one I can guess is Fake Peppino (speaking of which, glad the the anxious Italian is getting updated, because lord knows he needs to be patched.) Taking PlayStation All Stars Battle Royal's concept of intruder bosses is also a unique concept that's never been done before, so I can't wait to see the many possibilities we could get from that. And Save The Server looks promising, especially since we have Robo Sandy as our first boss. Good luck on fulfilling these ideas, and may you continue to take off in the Lawl community.

Very Good! I do think that the Suns from the Sunflower should heal the summoner instead of stunning opponents when touched, since sun actually HEALS the Plant team in Garden Warfare; thanks to the Heal Flowers/Marigolds. But hey, that's just my opinion. Nothing wrong with diverting expectations.

WOAH! STAGE INTRUDERS!?! How did I skim over that!? An amazing concept such as this has LOTS of potential in a massive project like Lawl! Man I feel dumb for missing that part. On the topic: I'm surprised no one has ever done it before! Most likely because it would be vastly difficult to animate, eh who knows. I just hope there are ending animations to them; similar to how PASBR did their mashups. Anyways: I'm sure you've already came up with ideas on some of the stages, but my concept for this "Helluva Boss" stage (at 3:45 to be specific), I was thinking the Trade Federation from Star Wars... With them having... *snickers* ...the Super Bombad Racing look to them lol. Err then again, I'm not sure if the animation for the droids and vehicles would even be easy since one would have to rip from the small amounts of footage on KZbin gameplay videos, and even ripping frames for said models would be limited since racing is the main focus. Oh well, It's not like it would ever happen.
