I'm pretty sure most people know Marth beats Puff. We just dont have a Marth that is at the level of hbox rn. Maybe zain eventually. But anyone who has played the Marthpuff matchup from both sides knows Marth wins. It's puffs second worst matchup.

Waifu Serena what do you mean difficult? Other players hit techs all the time vs Hbox, so Hbox normally goes out of his way to knock the opponent away from the stage. He didn't have to do this vs Zain since Zain missed like 90% of his techs. Zain probably just hasn't practiced it if anything, but it's anything but difficult.

He had to read the timing to tech. It was too close to react. So he missed. When he had reactable techs then he hit them. Zains reactions are amazing but the edguards against wall bounce like that you have to read the timing. If Hbox delays the hit by like 5 frames then you miss the tech. But then if you time it for that and he hits you instantly you still miss the tech. It's a 50/50.

zackolot its not anything but difficult. If any of us were in his shoes we would most likely have missed all of them too. That being said, others like Armada or mango would usually tech something like that. I think Zain is so interesting because he has a brand new playstyle that is very smart and super unique and effecient, but since he's only been playing for a few years, there are some holes in his playing that come just from lack of experience. I think this is primarily prevailant in his mental game.

Of the players in-and-around the top 10, Zain looks more like Amsa & Wizz in that he could conceivably beat Hbox on a good day if things fall in place, as opposed to S2J, Axe, current Sfat etc who just look hopeless. So exciting seeing Zain keep improving like this.

Couple things Zain needs to work on whbox knows when he is in kill percent with the grab pivot fsmash and he starts crouching to dodge the grab Zain should dair when he starts crouching around the 60 80% range also would like to see him use his counter. Oh a techs needa hit those sacred techs gg's

Also puff wins this matchup: she wins neutral, her bair disjoint isn't much worse than marth's sword and her superior aerial mobility more than compensates for that, she's literally better at the spacing game. Now marth does have better punish with grab and side-b, but both of those are beat by crouching, having all your good punishes countered by the same option doesn't give you an advantage over losing neutral.
