Honestly, imma have to say, this was a pretty disappointing roster. First of all, there’s such little variety in different genres that it became predictable. Most of these were a pass regardless for multiple reasons, they were either way underage (why the heck was kid Naruto on here, if you’re gonna put characters that age up in a series, have the images for when they are actually adults. 90% of the characters were from Shonan anime (which I get is the most popular genre, but at least half of them are copy paste clones of each other). There were some good choices in there such as Midnight (I personally pass because I’m not an M, but I still respect it). There are plenty of other characters that are super popular that are not from Shonan. The other passes were because those characters are absolutely insane. Sure Mikasa is hot, but she completely insane, no thank you. Why was Hisoka on this list, of all people. Hisoka is a known predator and complete psychopath. Anyone that swipes right there needs some serious help. Come back with some better variety next time.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my silly little video! I am a shonen fan so of course that's the majority of the characters here, plus shonen characters tend to be the most mainstream and popular and I wanted to highlight those - I have a small YT channel so I want it to grow and be seen, yk? Shonen main characters are usually kids as we know and I was very hesitant to add them in this video (that's a reason why I added the disclaimer in the description) But I knew if I didn't people would yell at me in the comments about it (people yell if I do and yell if i don't, so can't make everyone happy). I wish in this critique you gave more constructive criticism and more examples of what I should add. Which anime should I be looking at, which characters should I be using.. I haven't seen every anime under the sun unfortunately. In the grand scheme of things, I'm still a 'beginner' when it comes to anime. At the end of the day, they're fictional characters written by adults (acting as adults), all drawn and animated by adults, and voiced by adults 🤷
