Interesting interaction between iBDW and Kodorin after a game of Super Smash Bros Melee.
Sorry for the repost. Dunno where i'm taking this channel. I'll keep up doing Melee clips, but i'm also interested in making some gaming video essays in the future.
If you're interested in having a video editor, hit me up on Twitter:

The nice thing is that we're reaching an era where it is increasingly "easier" to sustain yourself as a top player without winning tournaments. A player like S2J doesn't need to win tournaments to have an income, just as long as they have a streaming platform they can build. By making your competition better, you increase the hype, and you draw more attention to your stream. The feedback loop allows for a net positive, regardless of win or loss. Hearing IBDW give tips to his opponent makes me that much more likely to watch his stream, because I know that he's working to build up the players around him.

@@TheChucknoxus Scar and Toph have to be two of the worst commentators ever to grace a competitive sport. I do this when I play with my best friend. At this point I win like maybe 80-90% of the time but as soon as I see a bad pattern or him not being aware of a specific dynamic in the game I tell him immediately. It’s nice to have someone who is at eye level when playing smash so I like seeing him improve every time we play.

Cody took after Zain and was drinking on Day 2 though lol. I don't think he was like completely smashed the way Zain was all weekend but it definitely wasn't the same quality of win as when Kodorin beat Cody at Pound, or 2021's mainstage.
@Lavkia
@Lavkia Жыл бұрын
Agree I def think there's still a skill gap between them. Even with Cody playing far from his 100%, he's the one that kicked Kodorin to the loser's bracket before falling there himself But Cody even mentioned on twitter that he believed Kodorin had leveled up and "felt like a completely different player" It's definitely not a decisive win, but still a huge improvement from Kodorin in just two weeks

Click-bait titles are extremely cliche. I was reluctant to watch your video simply because of it and when I found out iBDW never said what you implied he said through the thumbnail it only made me think less of the channel. The video was extremely well edited and superb in every way and doesn't need the click-bait sell out to get good views, imo.
