that's crazy for him to say too because while he's not some rich celebrity, he IS famous for Melee. he IS considered as the GOAT of Melee, which is a huge title given the sheer competitiveness. but yeah he'd give all that up just to play even more Melee lol

Yo MangO, my name's Joe Renn. I admire the melee players who reach it to the top despite their challenges. I have some mental health issues but you've always been my hero. Hungrybox is pretty cool too. His dad was pretty hard on him. Hax money is the definition of mental health issues and having been banned from a couple game stores in Idaho. I'd really like to talk to you and Hax$ to see if there's anything I can do to support my local melee community with mental health issues. Idaho is the most conservative state in the nation, they do Kraft beer well but they are horrible about mental health. I'm the best magic player in the state and that was always my main game. I'm the Mang0/Hax$ of Idaho magic. I know you've got a wife and a kid and some dogs to take care of, but I want you to know how much I admire you. "Sometimes you just go out like a buster and there is nothing you can do about it."

To be honest. The only mods that would be allowed are the ones that fix the shortcomings of a gcc. The only rule that should be enforced is: If you pick up a random gcc at a family members house your mapping should be the same. So no boxx, no keyboards. Only gcc's. But they dont have to be oem, They can be phob that replicates gcc as closely as possible. This also means z jump isnt allowed.

It may very well be paid to win, but melee is already pay to play. If you want a good GameCube controller, it’s still pretty pricey. But honestly, if you’re actually good enough to be worrying about the difference that is made with a controller, then you can probably get one pretty easily. If you’re not at the top level, you don’t need a new controller, you need more experience. Playing stickless isn’t gonna of all the sudden make you better at combos, help you predict your opponents moves, or make you better under pressure. It’s just gonna make you feel even worse when you’re still not good.

This is not related to Smash, but whenever i do time trials at Crash Team Racing and have to do the turbo slides my hand just hurts like hell afterwards, and I'm not even a top player, people like Hypnoshark or Justin Zimmerman may have destroyed their hands at some point playing that game
