Smash Remix 1.5 (Nintendo 64 Mod)

In this video I check out Smash Remix 1.5 This is a mod for the original Smash Bros for the N64 and it's made by a community of hackers working together.
The leader of this group project is "The_Smashfather" the rest of the creators are listed below. So far this mod adds Dark Samus, Dr. Mario, Falco, Young Link, Ganon, Wario, Lucas, Bowser, Mad Piano, Conker, Wolf Marth, MewTwo, Sonic, Sheik, Marina Liteyears, King Dee Dee Dee, Goemon, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, Banjo & Kazooie, Ebisumaru, Metal Luigi & Dragon King added into the game. This mod also includes custom break the target stages and board the platform stages for the new characters. It also includes a new Remixed 1P mode, All Star mode, multi man melee & Home Run Contest.

Glad I wasn't the only one that couldn't figure the egg pooping lol. Weirdly the audience reacting to Banjo getting hurt kind of fits well. Those sounds were used in some parts of Banjo-Tooie.

Super Smash Bros. is probably my favourite game for the N64. It has infinite replay value including multiplayer, looks good and runs well on the hardware considering its limitations. I especially like that the Japanese version is easy to find and cheap, is easily playable to a non-Japanese speaker, and it doesn't require the expansion pak. Plus Smash Remix is an incredible ROM hack, to the point where calling it a ROM hack is like an insult, because it's very well done.

Break the targets was how I learned how to use Jiggly Puff. That large gap where you need to punch and fly to get the distance... Ultimate could really use a similar gauntlet that lets you learn the weirder new character's moves.

I've read an article on Twitter that KZbin's lousy rules shut down smash remixes KZbin channel because it had some "harmful and dangerous policy" which is freaking BS! Yes, it was officially from the official smash remix Twitter page But hey, on the bright side, at least it's not Nintendo's DMCA legal team this time.

Will you do Smash Remix target and platforms with unintended characters? Now that i think about it, it would take a very long time to do. (18*24 + 30*36 - 18 = 1494) If my math is correct, using all 18 Remix chars on the 24 vanilla stages, then using all 30 chars on the 36 (18*2) added stages minus the 18 Remix chars' own stages. That's 1494 matches! If each takes 1 minute it would take 25 hours! And that does not include boss variants or polygons.
