I think Kent’s villager is pretty hype. And good Yoshi play is hype. There is like evading and spacing but not really camping. Yoshidora is super hype, but I think there was a Yoshi at Smash Factor that went kinda deep and their games were hype.

I’m flooding chat now, sorry! Little Mac is like a couple small changes from being hype. He should have good roll, a better throw, and get his side B back, and a small rework on KO punch, not sure what but it stops the game a little too much for something that Mac loses to most hits. It makes sense that boxing give doesn’t snap the ledge, but maybe the glove should have armor since it is padded, up B is like a free two frame.

Mii Brawler feels so hype to play, when you hit some of his 0 to death combos it feels soooo good, but he got cursed with the worst animations for all his attacks lol. As a spectator, watching Brawler get a bunch of uptilts and upairs to thrupper looks so lame after you see it a couple times

Sonic is very dependent of the player he is fighting against, if his opponent is bad he will just never take any risk and everyone will fall asleep watching the match but If the fight is close, you got one of the most intense gameplay you'll ever have. The hbox clip is a solid proof, all the hype is because of the sonic match-up

Can't ryu be played super lame with his projectile, rob is lame as hell wym, samus is lame as hell, sepiroth can be lame af, bayo is just as lame as smash 4 she just sucks now, kazuya spams the same combo over and over all clips I've watch of him look the same. As a pt main pt is hype except in some mu's where you have to play lame af with ivy, belmonts are not hype they literally just do one thing, kirby is hype tf you on, young link is lame as hell, villager is lame af projectile ass camping char, i think lucas can be hype but I understand the placement same with rosa, k rool is lame af literally just a bad zoner, little mac is hype af you gotta outplay the player so hard to win, well unless you get bs ko punch or armored smash attack read. I understanding hating his char design but that doesn't make him lame.
