Now THIS is what I've been looking for! But how did you use rapid jab at 8:26 without hitting the opponent like that, I just can't get it to work for me. But anyways, this was AMAZING; thank you for making this! Seriously though, HOW did you do that rapid jab at 8:26, I want to know so badly! I can't get it to work ONCE.

Cosmology Master thanks! And for the rapid jab, you honestly just have to tap ‘’A’ 4 times quickly and hold on the 4th. It’s only easy when you hit the opponent because of the hitlag so you need to press it really fast! (Mario party has trained me for this haha)

I have to say, this is good, quality content. I'm a bit confused on a lot of things you referenced. I've been trying to implement everything you're explaining in your videos. I'm new to Smash Ultimate, haven't played a Smash game in a long time. I know that Rosalina & Luma are probably not my best choice of character as I'm still very new to certain concepts that I never gave a second thought in the past... She seems like an incredibly in-depth character, I really can't describe why, but I'm completely obsessed with her. Can you explain how you're backwards short hopping into a neutral back air. I've been trying to make what you did in the video happen and I can't seem to pull it off consistently. Any thoughts? Bair Walling as you called it.

Rosalina & Luma will take a while to master for a new player, but once you do it’ll be super rewarding! If you’re asking about the sequence I named luma reeling- 1) Short hop away from your opponent 2) quickly tap the control stick behind you, release, then tap B to recall (if done quickly enough you should turn around) 3) then just back air close to the ground so Rosalina’s attack cancels but lumas won’t (lunar landing) I suggest going to to the training room and setting the game speed to 1/2 or even 1/4 speed so you can get the feel before trying it at full speed!

In your last guide you demonstrated recovering with Rosa, but you went directly up. When I try I sometimes get it but I sometimes go backwards. Any advice or just keep practicing?

MochaMCX Yeah it’s tricky to get it consistent at first. There’s a few frames of a window where you can do it while she’s getting ready to be launched. If you go backwards you’re going a little too fast and if you go at 80 degrees you’re a little too late

K K Tap the A button 3 times AS FAST AS YOU CAN lol, and hold A to hold the multijab They made the timing tight if there’s no hitlag so you gotta go fast if your not hitting anyone

I've had that problem for so long but now I can do it... you gotta tap the button like 3 times before you hold it, then, try to tap the two first very very quick and in the third hold it... The best you can do is practice because is the only way to get used to that

To rapid jab, you need to press ‘A’ 4 times quickly. I don’t know why, but without the hitstun, Nintendo made it tough to input so you need to mash really fast! Maybe try practicing on 2/3 speed first to get a feel for the timing

Hi, hope you’re having a nice week, I wonder how do you do the short neutral air so fast? Also I have issues when rappid jabbing with luma.. he always stops at mid jab or he does the 3 kicks instead of what I really want :(

If the short neutral air you’re referring to is the lunar landed Nair, then you need to time your input very close to when you are landing (the closer the better) it is very precise so you should practice it in the training room for a little before trying it in a game. As for the rapid jab, there are no gimmicks unfortunately, you just need to mash ‘A’ 4 times ultra quickly. Some people said they’ve found it easier when they set their attack input to an extra button so they can alternate mashing both of them. It’s worth a try, but ultimately you just need to attack super fast if you aren’t hitting anyone.

Hey, aspiring Rosa player here. Would you recommend using tilt stick or smash stick for Rosalina? I used to used to use tilt stick but I feel using smash stick for a more consistent upsmash out of shield would be pretty useful

Good question, I honestly think it all comes down to preference. I personally use tilt stick mostly for attack cancel Nairs and easier reverse Ftilts. In regards to up smash out of shield, you're totally right, but I've been conditioned to do it the old fashion way for so long that it makes no difference to me lol, but if you think it's easier I say go for smash stick!

I cant seem to figure out how to execute the luma untether during the dash attack. I always seem to end up short hop bairing or nairing and can't seem to just hop wave dash. By the time i touch the ground Luma will have already ran back to me. Any tips on how to better execute this? Also is Luma no longer able to rapid-jab freely when untethered? when i release them off edge to go for the rapid jab ledge guard they just do the 3 hit jab instead of the rapid one. I've enjoyed your guides and honestly they have inspired me to get better at this character but I've spent hours in training trying to figure everything out and i seem to fail every time with no progress =/. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Accurate Panda if you’re getting short hop bairs, the only input you need to put extra focus on is timing your wave dash with the grab button. All the other inputs were correct but the air dodge needs to cancel the aerial. (You only have a 3 frame window) As for the rapid jab, MANY people struggle with this, but there is no trick other than mashing ‘A’ as fast as you can. It’s only easy to do on hit because the added hitlag

Daniel D So Luma will always face the direction it last moved in. But if you want to turn Luma around in order to Jab or Down tilt someone behind it, it will turn automatically. Because of that it doesn’t matter which way Luma is facing other than for down smash!

If you’re asking how to make Luma move backwards, while separated you just need to turn Rosa around and If Luma is on the floor it will go a fixed distance in front of Rosa (check out part 1 if you haven’t yet)

If you’re talking about the clip at 1:17 that’s a B reversed luma shot -Press B while moving then really quickly press the control stick in the opposite direction (If you use side B then you did it too quickly and if you don’t turn around you did it too late) Hope that helps
