Not sure if you mentioned this but you can use this to make temporary power from actions permanent. Use augmentation on a minion then play Fort Titanosaurus and that +4 power gets converted to power counters. (And then you can immediately draw a card)

Since the ongoing doesn't have to be one of your own minions I can forsee some shenanigans. Like playing with Teddy Bears, giving opponents +1 counters to put them in range of love overload.

Did they ever settle the rule over what happens if you use an action to play a minion in the before a base scores phase that has its own before the base scores ability? Like let's say you use hidden ninja to play Mole or Megaladon do their specials kick in?

Yes, they did settle the rule. As of Marvel the special ability is now resolved immediately when it enters play during a before a base scores. Look at last paragraph of page 6 of rulebook.

Yes you can. You just can't play a minion then immediately eat it. That's why it generally can't come out turn 1

How does Titan plays always being optional interact with the if you do X to do Y you must do Y rule? Could you keep this titan out of play for a once per turn guaranteed self destruction?

No, according to my sources, there is actually a rule being added specifically about this. Otherwise, Great Grandma can continually look at your deck.
