Smash Up: Marvel - Play Through

So I decided to watch some old Smash Up, and it reminded me of how I always thought of Arthur from The Tick whenever I saw the Hydra Agent card.

I played our three or four boxes of SmashUP/Expansions with my family and our visiting friends. It was INSANE, eight people at the table. Absolutely hilarious night.

Marvel Smash-Up is THEORETICALLY compatible with regular Smash Up. HOWEVER, since the playing cards are way larger, than those of regular Smash Up games, practically mixing the games is not advised. Greetings, a dedicated Smash Up player who owns all sets...

the size seems the same , at least with the english versions released in the EU. German cards are a lot smaller though

As a canadian, the soze of the cards are identical, me and my brother mix all the time.

most decks have 10 minions/monsters and 10 actions. Are all minions called characters in the American version of the game? Because i havent seen any cards yet that say " character" Edit: Jesus, all these bases seem very OP for wizards and robots

Its been 5 months since this comment, but for future: minions are characters in the Marvel and Disney editions. I suppose they didn’t want Captain Marvel to be a “minion” for the n00bs who buy for the IP.
