Dude if smash up was more popular these videos would be popping off, theres so much information thats soooo helpful for newer players and even somewhat experienced players. Thanks for all you've done!

Hi. In 1 or more videos, he mentioned "engine". What does that mean?

I found a fun need-need (?) combo in Rock stars and Sinister 6. It gives you great control over the breakpoints of the bases and lessens the impact the bases natural breakpoint has on your game plan. Groupies are also great for quickly breaking the bases with lowered breakpoints

The quality of your videos is superb - love how you continue to come up with such great content after such a long time - well done!

I really like this series idea for helping out new players! Only recommendation I’d make is maybe simplifying the videos down even more just so that really new players don’t get lost (for example I feel like the difference between have-have and need-have was very clear but the difference between need-have and need-need was maybe more of an advanced topic). Just because I really do want to share this series with potential new player friends but don’t want them to feel overwhelmed! Maybe like a beginner’s strategy guide first and then an advanced strategy guide later? Haha but that’d be a lot of work so no worries if not

Yeah, I found this all to be very advanced. I've played a dozen or more games, and watched and read a lot of info, so I'm not completely out of the loop, but the concept of recursion is over my head, because I have so little control over the deck. Bursting is unfamiliar, too, but maybe I understand it for winning the base...I wish that he demonstrated on default factions in the basic set. I have no idea of what differences are between have-have & have-need & need-need. I'm looking forward to the deck management video.

It would have been nice to provide 2 or 3 pairings for beginners that encourages learning and isn't weak.

Can you explain the changerbot mega trooper combo? My brother is trying to figure out changerbots and I’m sure your explanation could help.

thanks for the video, great one as well, only thing missing was the outro music! As for my favorite combos, they ares as complicated as they could have been, but i find them really fun and work in almost every situation, which is a safe bet when you want to flex, and they are Itt critters-Shapeshifters and Wizards-Mythic greeks!

This is by far my second favorite Crank It Up episode! Love the concept! Not sure why anybody would say they don't want to be taught Strategy? Thanks for making this. Love the preview images also. Gonna watch it again just for those. 😎

@Chris Johnston LOL Jim Price was nice enough to let me guest star an episode of Unexpected Party. I talked about the Combo of Shapeshifters and Changerbots. First time on a podcast!!

That’s awesome, I’ll have to watch that one again! This is definitely one of the better ones I think (not that there are many duds) but doesn’t quite surpass FernGully for me :)

@Chris Johnston well if you do, I would love your feedback 😊

They might not want to be taught strategy, because they might want to discover it themselves...but they have to just not watch the videos. *shrug*
