Aww yes the JuddBrown paradox. Movement does help with this. If your opponent tries to add power where your King Engine Minion is, you can move them off to keep the engine going. I have found specials that allow your King minion to move off a base before or after a base scores very handy as well.

Your perception of five turns per base (roughly 10 minutes) is quite astute and (in my opinion) and oft-neglected component to effective tactics in Smash Up - that comment alone is (in my opinion) worth the price of watching the video by itself 🙂 Has anyone else found five turns per base to be the average? If not, what IS your (averange) number?

I'm not an expert, but 5 does seem average to me.

Hey, been watching your Smash Up videos and have been enjoying what I've been seeing. I've been making some custom decks for a while now for my friends and I to play together on Tabletop simulator, but we've only ever balanced or evaluated our decks in a vacuum. Do you have either a discord or a means by which I could submit my decks for review to get your design insights?

Thank you for your support! I would recommend the custom channel on the Smash Up discord discord.gg/Ec2eVQAZ2d

You could just switch the words around and call it Creeping Power. A bit more descriptive in my opinion and it avoids having the same name as a concept that is not only very common in the game industry (not just mtg) but is also relevant to basically any game that adds content that's supposed to interact with previous content (such as Smash Up)

You need to find a new word to describe what you are calling power creep. I know you know what it actually means.

I would actually agree here. It's not just a Magic thing, either. That phrase already has meaning in this industry. It's not the end of the world, but it does kind of lead to confusion sometimes.
