When you left your first spot with little tide movement, (searching for moving water), did you move in the direction of the river? Assuming the water will start moving there sooner?
@LAFishBlog3 жыл бұрын
No river runs through the Biloxi Marsh, unless you're referring to the Pearl River, which I did not run towards. But you are on the correct train of thought: Yes, I indeed ran towards where water would begin moving sooner.

I see that you're a member of LAFB Elite, so you may have already reviewed it, but my Mastering The Tide course covers all this in detail. Find it here: www.lafbelite.com/course/mastering-the-tide/ IIRC there's some good discussion in the comments as well, but I could be thinking of a different course. Thanks for watching!

Ill say it again. Highest quality fishing videos in Louisiana. I'm actually going to shell beach tomorrow. Unfortunately, tide will be one of those wonky rise and fall and rise and wind will be pushing water into the marsh but Im off work so im going.

Hey Devin, great video! Have you ever fished the Pointe Aux Chenes area, and if so what lake,bays did you find most productive?

Yes, I have, but mostly for redfish. However, I still fish any area based upon the conditions and that's what I teach inside Fall Fish Location. Take Fall Fish Location (it's free) and you'll know exactly where it is you need to start looking: www.lafbelite.com/course/easily-locate-speckled-trout-redfish-during-the-fall-pattern/

Hey man I can’t wait to get out there after watching your videos lol quick question when you go to the Biloxi marsh where do you launch? Hopedale? Chef?
@LAFishBlog3 жыл бұрын
Great question. It depends on the wind. If it lays down I can launch from Rigolets Marina and run across Lake Borgne. Or Southshore Marina. Or Campo's Marina if the wind is bad. It really depends on you and your needs.

Just curious, How many times have you had a KEEPER & a throwback, one in each hand, then you REALIZE, the oh no moment, you threw back the WRONG one? Anyone who has been in that predicament has had the slip of the brain, wrong signal to the hand and as the fish is in mid stride of its return, the brain says, “LOL, you freaking idiot, that was supposed to be the OTHER HAND!!” Good to see you have been able to make it back out on some good feeding grounds! Good box for sure!!!
