I have helped hundreds of people pass their B2 First exam at no cost, and I would LOVE to keep it that way. Of course, I still have to maintain a full time job while running this channel, and BELIEVE ME, I spend the majority of my free time writing, recording, editing and publishing videos. I love doing this, but I would love it even more if I could do it for a living! If every student that PASSED their exams bought one beer for Bruce I’d be able to do this full time. That would be MARVELLOUS! So, if you’ve PASSED your B2 First exam, and feel that SMASH English really helped, please consider donating here: www.buymeacoffee.com/SMASHEnglish This is not an obligation. One of the fantastic things about SMASH English is that it is free for everyone that needs it! This will not change. However, if you do feel you can say thanks with a little bit of money then that’s fantastic. Thank you all! Toby.

" means something is imminent and it's happening within a few seconds" (as you said); but if it was 9:59 and the lesson was scheduled at 10 o'clock we are actually talking of seconds, so we can say "about to". Isn't it?

Hello Toby. Your videos are absolutely great as you are!!! 2 more things:1) I tried to offer you 3 beers but my payment has been rejected. What else can I do to convey my gratitude? 2) Any suggestions about the best way to pass part 1 Use of English c1 (Multiple Choice)? Thank you Toby, live long and prosper.

Thank you so much for that, Alberto! I am sorry the payment didn't work, try again! If it continues to fail I can send you paypal details. You can email me here: smashenglishacademy@gmail.com. As for Part 1, have you seen my video regarding Part 1 of the B2 First paper? The technique is the same.

@@SMASHEnglish it was a whole rollercoaster of a experience. The essay part of the writing exam kind of sucked. But the letter went amazing! I used some of the grammar help you gave me! Listing went great, I think i will get close to, or completely full marks on it! Use of English went great, I kept remembering your hilarious and educational videos! (open cloze went the greatest btw!) With the reading exam only the end, where you needed to enter certain paragraphs to an already existing text and the part where you need to connect question to a texts went kind of badly, but I think i will still score a great score there. Hopefully c1, but I honestly don't think so, I'll get my result on the 13th of July. I'll inform you guys about it!!
