Part 1 of the C1 (Cambridge Advanced, CAE) Speaking exam is the easiest part. BUT that does not mean you do not need to understand what to do and how to do it. This video will tell you about the structure of part 1 of the Cambridge C1 Advanced Speaking exam and also give useful tips and advice how to score the highest marks possible.
Part one of the Cambridge Advanced Speaking exam requires you to answer simple questions on familiar topics. How long is Part one of the C1 Advanced Speaking exam? How extended should your answers be? Is there any grammar or vocabulary you should try to include?

Toby I completed my fce a month ago and on the Cambridge site is written that I will get my results at 17 September. And I was though to make a registration in their site to get my results faster but they are at 17 September again. So my question is do you think that I will get my points sooner or not?

I've been watching some videos up on youtube and a few guys suggest giving some more details when answering the first questions... I take it they're not examiners..

You can if you want, but it won't make any difference to your marks. Frankly, if you are spending time rehearsing your answer to "where are you from", you're not ready to do C1 Advanced. At C1 level you are not expected to give any rehearsed answers. As candidates know they will be asked the "where are you from" question extended answers are not necessary. Just name the place and move on.
