@@Endlessnameless803 I love SP and even bought tickets to their 2018 show here in Los Angeles, but his weirdo ass "I saw a reptilian shapeshift" and exposed transphobic comments had me refund my shit. As a lot of people. I don't blame Jimmy or James but Billy is weird and bigoted and stupid... and I grew up idolizing them as a kid in the 90's. Nothing can't ruin my love and fandom for the band but it was already fucked when Billy did Zeitgeist.

The truth came out on one of the other videos as told by Corgan and Chamberlain that Iha and D'arcy were basically window dressing. The song writing was all Corgan and Chamberlain on the drums during the recording sessions. So the band's breakup is half the band overestimating their worth. Someone wants to pay me $50,000 a year to look good and make sandwichs I'm all in.

James and D'arcy played every single live show for over ten years in the band, and they toured very extensively. In no world is that the musician equivalent of making sandwiches or looking good for a paycheck. It was hard work and realistically Billy could have had anyone technically "better" as a composer, but there are musical reasons they were in the band.
