There are moments on that album - on rocket and soma especially - that come together so perfectly from an instrumental perspective I still get shivers listening. Mellon Collie and their Aeroplane Flies High era was their best IMO. Equal contribution from band members and they rocked hard. Jimmy Chamberlain is a beast best 90s alt rock drummer. Him and Billy single-handedly could out-play full line-ups
