Pumpkins opening for Green Day? Bizzaro World. Green day put on a real good show, but their music is bubble gum - poppy, fast, fun - who knew?

Most gigs I've ever been to, the crowd is half empty for the support act(s).

It was sold out. Citi seats around 40k for concerts. They don't sell the seats that are behind the stage and nit e everyone was in their seat fir the opening acts. You can probably find pics of what the crowd looked like once Green Day took the stage, it was packed. Good mix of generations too, lots of young people there, not just GenX
