I guess he can still hit those notes. I loved this live at Lollapalooza 94 in Detroit. Billy was more angry, I was more angry, there was something special about those performances but as I have aged and Billy has aged and matured and refined their sound, they sound so good now. Look forward to seeing them with my kids Nov 2 in Detroit.

Billy’s obviously done a lot of work on his voice to get a more consistent live sound, and it sounds great, but god damn I miss the days he would scream from the diaphragm even if his voice would break. He almost gets there at 3:24, 3:30, 3:45 but pulls back… It’s almost too good now, and less raw. Still one of my favourite songs and a banging version.
