It just blows my mind how many songs SP/Billy Corgan have written and recorded over the years. They are my all-time favorite band, and I still find rare gems like this one from time to time. What an absolute treasure.

"A child is who I'll die" ...the infinite beauty of a poet speaking with open heart.

This song is pure poetry. I believe the lyrics are the best I've heard in a song. I mean it's so beautiful...

I often speak of you, but the you is always me Cause when I speak of me, it's me I ask of you So let there be no truth, just trickery in rhymes Time the only thing, waiting still as death

my all time favorite SP song, thank you for uploading this! It's a shame this song wasn't officially released. This song confirms the fact that Billy is the worst horrible song selector for an official album release

i love his songs that grow with the lyrics,the piano jus plays over and over and his lyrics distort its beauty...thirty three he did the same with,and best video they ever did.

@shblck222 I can't see it working on Mellon Collie. Doesn't even fit Adore that well. This is certainly a one-off, and I love it. Not for the fair-weather Pumpkins fan though.

Neither a B-Side or an unreleased song...it was released on a B-Side collection..."The Aeroplane" I think, but was never actually a B-side...I'm hoping it will be included in the Melon Collie Re-issue

Always been one of my favorites. Beautiful poetry Billy created for this one. And yet the song never made it on any album. IS THIS A B-SIDE OR JUST AN UNRELEASED SONG?
@Somarose16 жыл бұрын
umm look at billy's subpar solo album. that should tell you right there that he needs bandmembers to tell him what sucks and what doesn't

yes, it is a great song :D at least we can agree on something!! seriously no bad blood, just i really wanted to like them this time around... but i don't like the new lyrics and the music is mediocre at best. maybe their next album will be better. here's to hoping!!
@Somarose16 жыл бұрын
well i'm glad someone can apapreciate it, but if you listen to the old stuff, even before MCIS... it's 100 times better. i mean p iscariot, essentially a b sides album, runs circles around the new stuff. i've been a fan since '93, seen them 18 times live, met billy 3 times... don't get the wrong idea and think i like sum 41. i just have the capacity to critize something i know well.

i miss the old pumpkins... the new shit sucks and believe me, I really wanted to like it. :(
