I have had the SAR 109T for a while now, and I love the gun. It is a flat shooting fun gun. Since owning it, I have added a new rail, about a 10inch rail (I custom cut an old 15 inch rail I had lying around.) a carbine buffer tube (it was truly a challenge to get the old tube off) and sba3 brace, a light, optic, sling, and hand stop. The next upgrades will be a trigger and ambi safety, mag release, and charging handle. I believe it is a great option for a home defense PCC. However, for anyone considering this PCC for home defense, I must say that so far with the hollow points that I have ran through it, (Hornady Critical Defense and Gold Dot Personal Protection) the gun does not like them, I experienced a lot of failure to feeds due to the 9mm nose being flat rather that smooth like an FMJ. So if you want to use it as a home defense PCC, just be mindful of the ammo you put in it, and try it out at the range before trusting your life with it.

That looks like alot of fun. I love all of my PCC'S. I cannot pick a favorite one among my PCC collection, as they are all among the firearms that I shoot most accurately.

I picked up a 109t and added a foam pad on the end of the buffer tube so I can get a cheek weld there. I also added a SIG Romeo 5 red dot, a flashlight and a single point sling. With the ATF going after braces I am waiting to see how the court challenges post-Bruen go before I get one. It is a fun plinker and good truck/trunk gun.

Except that I had to have Rudy (Macon Armory), recut the chamber, change out the buffer, to get my Brigade BM9, to feed HP’s. The SAR 109t (I one with a brace and Romeo 5 XDR) was never designed to feed HP’s and it won’t. A quick call to SAR USA and they verified the 109t is an exact semi-auto copy of their sub machine gun. Feed it FMJ’s and you’re good to go.

I got a kel tec sub 2 k gen 2. Solid gun I just don’t like that the bolt release is near your face so as it cycles it’s not the most comfortable firearm

True but Mcarbo makes upgrades for the sub2000 gen 2 a simple folding red dot adapter and tube cover takes care of those issues and its one of the best PCCs you can own

Look for C-Products DuraMag SS 9mm AR-15 Magazine 32RD - COLT Style which have a nice orange follower to show you that you are empty and clear when it locks open. I got mine from Joe Bob Outfitters but you can find other sources for them. They also sell ASC Magazines Stainless Steel 9MM Colt Style AR-15 Magazines for less than the C-Products one but I don't know how durable and reliable they are.
