SWAC is about "tubas flex" ... i have long said this. the other college divisions dont count each other tubas. the number of Drum Majors or dancers is their flex of choice. Southern University is the main antagonist of this. they would drown out the other bands and even stadium PA system. now all the SWAC bands got FOMO. 😂 True story bruh

I'm a SU fan but when it comes to entrance cadences PV hands down is on another level. There drumline never stops playing which is the best part. There energy is unmatched. The DM's are legit as well.

THEIR ART IS PRECISE. which is why their style is popular.💖even with high school bands. SU FANS cant take the heat. [2015-2018 popular ] Stingettes adheres more to the SWAC culture. if they are ghetto then all the SWAC teams are ghetto . ASU said it again "𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝒾𝓃𝓉 𝒮𝒲𝒜𝒞 !!"🤭 PV is run by an ex- DOLL; and every year she turns their style more 'Doll-like' = which why you like it.\ as you can see the white-gloves are on. Ditto: TXSU hired another ex-Doll in management and its slowly becoming 'doll like " in the halftime show. ======== which is to be expected; high band directors do the same thing. bring their college style to the school ==== Stingettes, Golden Girls, etc etc have high view count just as Dolls = not sure how you think the Dolls the most popular.

Well 3 out of 6 DM need to stop eating at the Golden Corral! I have never seen PV DM so damn fat. They need to get it together how they pick them DM. I thought it was a height and weight requirement to be a DM. I have never seen SU or even TxSU with a short or a lil healthy DM

Give the heavy folk some.......You have to physically fit to be a drum major regardless of height or weight!!! These are students with classwork,etc. Most schools give 1 hour credit for band. Great job music staff and students!!!!

Time flies. I remember being a band nerd in the Storm and caring about negative comments and trash talk towards PV way back when. Fast forward 11 years later, I could care less. 😂 Always makes me laugh now when I read negative shyt because I know I used to one of the first to defend PV. Guess that's part of growing up lol. I'm down with PV first and foremost but I love to see other HBCU bands do well also. 🥂
