Hello there, thanks for the awsome content, i have a question : How to deal with the fear to get into another trade whenever my earlier trade was profitable.

one advice i got from finding my personality is find the style where you feel the most calm where you feel not rushed or hesitant, you like to take 1 good trade instead of multiple

15:40 Trading is like most other things. You don't have a style in the beginning, it's developed over time.

Thanks Jeff, this decision analysis video is really good: love how it leads to the psychological state analysis of trader. He scaled out early on the second retest of the bottom was partially caused by the re-add that was caught offside, affecting his psych state.

Every time I don’t follow my system, even a slight deviation (including when I don’t account for them and it slips by me for whatever reason) is the moment when I become completely and totally screwed. I wish I had a function that when I hit buy under those conditions the computer screen lights up and says “go fk urself try again tomorrow”. It’s amazing how taking the emotions out of it makes trading seem so simple.

I can build that screen for you, I got following relevant competencies: #1 I'm a Software Engineer with 14 years of experience of unfucking things #2 I'm very GOOD at foul language 😁

Is there any concern that$COIN trading could be halted by SEC when considering trade: for illegality or price crash? I would have scalped this going down, then retrace, then scalp down again. IF trading would have stopped I would have raised my price a few cents to cover or exit. Consider all contingency's said Napoleon. If % down wouldn't have been too bad, I may have moved to momentum but a trading halt concerned me. Very possible dynamics.??? Thank you! Loved this and it helped me to clarify trading strategy and management.

Test it out, if your second trade has the same good odds as the first. Review your journal and you'll know for sure whether you should take that second trade - or take a break.

You always talk about RVOL, but you don't explain exactly how to define it - can you please explain?

I don't think what he did was necessarily wrong. He did not have enough experience and therefore not much conviction in this specific situation. So he took off some size to match his perception of the expected value of that trade at that time. But he still left some size on for if it did continue. He's making real time decisions based on real time expected value as perceived by him. That's exactly what Lance Breitstein talks about. He is a little soft spoken but if you listen closely he tried to explain this to his mentor but the mentor wasn't hearing him. Seems like some of these coaching sessions are hindsight-biased. "Yeah yeah but think of how much you COULD'VE made if you went full size here and just held the whole thing all day".... LOL

I see what you are saying and could partially agree at first. Upon further exam of way I would have traded it, I could have answered with more clarity because of my style of tech analysis. More reasons were there for me but of course I have the hind-site bias. This is the 2nd video I have seen Jeff pushing and I can see why. If he is always giving all solutions, then he is not pushing them to navigate on their own. Yes, it kind of would be helpful and then on the other hand, people need to help develop themselves instead of having Jeff dictate everything. Life is a struggle and so is trading. Confusion is healthy when the struggle through creates ability to think independently.

Jeff's responsible for making his traders profitable. He can't be too soft and let them "find" their way. So if he can show them different ways to make a trade, he's doing his job. If I were a trader working on the SMB floor, I'd like all the mentoring/direction I could get. Show me how to fine-tune my edge. Money will follow
