Panther Type G with Camo Net - Part 2 - 1/35 Tamiya - Tank Model - [ Painting - weathering ]

A late WWII Panther tank with striped camouflage. The masking work and the separate painting of the stripes were quite difficult, but the clear camouflage pattern does not obscure its presence even when the camouflage net is attached. Panther G / late model with exposed oxide red, which is the base paint. Please enjoy the production process of painting and weathering carefully.

Frankly I'm most impressed by your ability to make those ugly and stretchy rubber tracks look like real and proper tank tracks. I pretty much only work with metal tracks nowadays, but I might have to give the rubber tracks a go again. Great work as always.

outstanding work of talented model maker but it is an exaggerated reality. a tank at this time had an average lifespan of 3 months on the front, and never reached such a level of rust on the exhaust pipe !

The Panzer 4, Panther.. It was the main battle tank during the largest tank battle on earth in Kursk between Germany and Russia. Another fun fact, the Panther was developer rather in haste, so quickly, as a counter measure to the great tank of the Russians the T-34, which was superior at the time. Due to the quick manufacturing and deployment of the Panther, it was not tested sufficiently and most of them broke down or had other technical issues.
