Whoa, definitely some standout patches here. I love Distant Cello, Generate me, and some others. They all sound great, but some of them are maybe a bit too similar to each other.

Hi Thanks for the comment, they all act very differently with the modulations I programmed in. Maybe on first listen they sound similar, but if you scroll further into each demo patch, you will hear the differences, each and every one was started from Init patch and this bank is really to pull as much warmth from the HS as I could. I know it may not be for everyone, but the feedback I have received on these has been fantastic from buyers :) Thanks again.

I had the same feeling at first when I was playing around the bank. The bank is one type of style, it makes sense for me that it sound somewhat similar. Some preset have similar ENV2 setting and it can make it sound similar to the last one. But there is enough going on in the background that it distinguished itself from the other. I bought the bank, I have to say I kind of dig it. It's very easy to use his stuff as a template and move forward with something neat and new.

So beautiful... astounding sound design and patches. After watching tons of videos about it, this is the very first time I really enjoy listening to the Hydrasynth. Been wanting to like it, but I hadn't been enthralled until I heard your sound set. Do these patches work on the Explorer as well? I imagine they would, your description seems to confirm it, but just wanted to make sure.

Hi There, thanks for your kind comment, yes, all Hydrasynths have exactly the same sound engine, so the patches will work in any of the current range :)

Wow. Some of those swells on the earlier patches sound like they're straight out of an M83 composition. No wonder they used a shit ton of them on stage for their latest tour (which was excellent, btw). This is probably the bet Hydra demo I've seen. Kudos, once again.

Hi Will, yeah M83 are an amazing band, they always achieve such a great vibe in their sound. Not surprised they used lots of HS. it's great for pads, but can cover lots of ground all in really :) - Glad you enjoyed these.

Oh, very very good. You have the ability to find the sweetspot of every synth, right? ;-) I use the Hydra more for crazy stuff, using the LFO battery and sharp leads cutting through the mix and love the ribbon, very playable. But you made Hydra to be sweet :-). Are you going to create the full bank or even more? What are youre favourite Hydra features? /btw when showing my friends the mightiness of the Moog One, I am always using your Oxygene patch :-)

Thanks for the kind words! I do try my best to keep every pack very usable. With historic patch bank purchases myself, too many packs had very clever but impractical like sounds. It’s difficult to cater for everyone but I do try to pull the best from each synth.
