I have already build this deck. Definitely going to consider some of your picks. From my testing, Nazguls are amazing, but they are hard to get now. I was lucky and managed to order after release all arts. Dúnedain Rangers seem like auto include to me. They are good alone and have infinite combo.

If you are running nazgul consider running cloudstone curio so you can bounce 2 back and forth for many tempt triggers

Have you gotten to playtest yet? I've been brewing a Sméagol list, and it seems like running bad cards for ring tempts (like the ring tempting murder) is not the way to go. Maybe a reliably recurring tempt like Call of the Ring, but going hard into tempts doesn't seem good. The key with the ring tempts is the Dunedain Rangers one shot mill the table combo. I'm testing starting this weekend. Have you found the incremental ring tempts to be worth it?

I have playtested it a little bit on the arena, not on paper. I have found some cards good for tempting him like the nazgul and call to the ring. I think the best value is the combo with the dunedain rangers. I added thoae other cards more for flavor of the deck, theyre nit 100% optimal

@PubStompMTG it's cool that the Dunedain combo can be done on Arena, though I haven't seen anyone do so yet. I'd make it myself but lost my wildcards to a Niv deck haha. Call seems like it'll be solid! The only other LotR card I'm testing is One Ring to Rule Them All. Otherwise is sac/graveyardy Golgari goodstuff. We shall see!

This one might be one I actually build. I really like the mix of aristocrats and landfall that he provides, and tossing in some ring-tempts-you triggers should really let you ramp like crazy. I guess the biggest struggle is whether it's worth including the Nazgul or not. Easy ring triggers, for sure, and all of them are 3CMC, meaning they're easy to cast and easy to recur with a lot of Black's reanimation effects, buuuut they're also like $10 a piece.
