When putting in the apex seals loose, there is a little trick if you're not gluing the end pieces together. I put the apex seals in the rotor without the springs to make sure they're lined up with the bottom corner seal. Then I slide the small spring down and then push in the long spring. The long spring pushes the little spring into position. This is the way Rotary Aviation does it. I don't like gluing them because if you glue them wrong, they may take to long to separate and you'll have weak compression on your 1st start-up. Edit: On the big flywheel nut. Breaker bar with 3-1/2' pipe. Put 100lbs on weight on the end to hit your 350lbs torque.
@Smeedia6 ай бұрын
I’m going to try that Alex seal trick next time, I haven’t tried glueing them together before. 😅 normally I just fight with em to get them in 😅

For example… I’m currently tuning my 11 sti with my Cobb AP and I got that whole recording down, but my tuner keeps saying I’m not doing it right and I can’t find a video on how to do it correctly. The instructions he sent are as follows… “When you reach a safe place, do one full throttle pull starting from 2000 rpms in 3rd gear and stop at 6800 rpms and make the shift into 4th but do not keep pulling. “ so what I’ve been doing was just going into 3rd and pressing the pedal to the floor till the engine red lines then I shift.
