Omar you are great! I came across this wonderful presentation as I am working on a sensory class for the blind. Soon the class took a back seat as I became flooded with personal emotions. My dad use to travel throughout my childhood. My memories go back as far as when I was a small child, age 5. I truly missed him so much. so in his absense, my mom would take me into their bed room and allow me to sleep on my dad's side of the bed. Once I smelt the scent of my dad's pillow I fell fast asleep. At age 42 my dad passed away and I would sit in his car and smell the steering wheel because scent of his hands. Fast forward 22 years those memories, recalling those experience as we speak brings me to tears. Thanks for the memories, inspired by the sense of smell

When I walked for the first time into the apartment from my date (girlfriend) I was overwhelmed about the smell in the apartment, I was truly happy that I can't explain. After 2 years the break they buildings, but I good still smell it, when I think about it. I never had that lucky feeling of happiness so strong. When are not together anymore, and the most said thing, I can not remember the smell. So smell have a strong meaning for me, and I want to know more about it..

I'm asexual, so I guess I'll bring on the tears whenever someone says they have a crush on me 😉. JK, I'm actually researching olfactory art so I can create a more enriching environment for my senior dog because their sense of smell is the last to go and she already has pretty bad cataracts.
