Cole, I have watched your posts every week faithfully for 3+yrs, I have learned from you and Brian what it means to run an operation that grows beef to feed the nation. I totally appreciate the diligence that you and your Dad put into keeping everything together on your Farm. I am amazed at your diligence in recording these activities and then putting in the hours to prepare them for publishing. I also understand the hard physical aspect and the thought that goes into each work day. I am a carpenter who has worked everyday with my body and hands for 43 yrs. You deviate from your intended goal when you inject an element of moralizing on human behavior that you have not yet taken the time in your education to learn more about. Keep it clean, no judgements coming from the working man, keep on farming, leave judgement to those who have a worldly mandate to instruct, or an otherworldly wisdom to weigh in. And thanks for all the hard work you put in to make the world a brighter place!

Always nice to see a father and son, no matter how long they are together, enjoy their time. It's awesome you two are going for some time together. I am sure many wise words will pass on to you Cole. Just remember to listen. That's what my father always told me. No matter how much you may, or may not like something, listen carefully. Are we gonna get a Jeff video!!!??? I'm so pumped for one. Lol. Let's see him take care of his animals and something new for a change. He is a Sonne after all!!!

I am especially fond of the shots from the drone and today you played some great music perfectly fitting for he video. Good job Cole! George Harrison toured with Delaney & Bonnie in late 1969 and started writing My Sweet Lord during that time in Sweden. The gospel song Oh Happy Day was his inspiration. He said he really responded to the song’s vibe and it made him feel good.... “I just felt a great feeling of the Lord” (I hope so) and his rendition of Oh Happy Day was My a sweet Lord. The song was about Buddhism and Krishna and had lots of hallelujah’s, my sweet Lord’s and I really wanna be with you’s. The song was listed in country, gospel, children’s music and a few others. It’s a great song, when I sing it of course I’m singing about our Lord Jesus Christ. Great song of the day! Storla Station

I custom spread manure for some hay customers. Decent $. We recently made a 5 h.p. pto unit to sit in the back of a pickup to run the spreader. Still working out the bugs. Purpose is to speed up the transportation from pile to field and keep the tractor off the road

Really nice video, you guys. Loved the drone sequence! Just outside of Chamberlain, there used to be a taxidermy shop ran by an older guy named Joe. I can't remember his last name, but when we were still playing music in the 80s , we used to play the Fireside Lounge (that's probably gone now, or called something else), and old Joe always invited us out for a wild game feed at his place. It was sure good. I miss those days.

Cole your dad talked about getting a loader for loading manurer, you could check on getting a bigger bucket for the tractor but small enough not to overload the front end on the tractor
@paulprigge12092 жыл бұрын
I haven’t watched too close but I think that’s about the right size for that tractor. You don’t want to oversize on that front end. More weight on the front More weight I need it on the back. But that’s Their call. Probably a track machine I suspect it

All that manure is really a blessing for your land, I know I don't need to tell you about all the benefits it brings. I wish I had some to spread, my cows and calves are rotated on the pasture and with the hay we roll out we get the benefits from that too, but it still would be nice to have more. I hope you both have a great hunting trip and are productive, good luck. Thanks Cole, y'all have a great week!

Just a bit of learning it would be smarter to back that spreader in just in case of issues with tractor so it’s right near front or you need that tractor without spreader - I’ve learned the hard way. And besides pulling out in morning is always better 👍👍🏆

Even tho your Dad made it seem like it wasn't a big deal and smiled when he said your getting married and leaving him and even tho you will be right down the street and will be working with him every day I can tell you that he is really going to miss you. You and your family seem really close and iam afraid that is going away in America. It's just great to see it's still alive in some families
