This is what I was working on for a long time I need to remaster because I made this when I started mixing so and made the drums a little quiet by accident

The way the vocals are very slightly panned to the right and have that spacey, untreated room sound to them is so accurate to in utero. Obviously there's only so much you can do with the isolated tracks when you're not someone as professional as Steve Albini or Butch Vig but this is actually really good, I think the drums are the most accurate out of everything.

I actually think Steve Albini’s production makes it sound like you’re in the band rather than listening to them. Especially the way way he mics the drums, it’s like you’re sat behind the kit.

Sounds absolutely brilliant 👍🏻 love it. I never liked Butch Vig's "style" or producing. Its why I don't care for nevermind to much. Defo has great songs, but in utero as far as I'm concerned is a masterpiece... part of it because of Steve Albini...he was brilliant🙏🏻🎸rest easy Kurt and Steve.

I like what you did with Teen Spirit there. The only thing I think is funky is I think the kick drum has too much Reverb and should be Fuller not bouncy as it is but that's just me. There's a hidden guitar track in Teen Spirit if you search Smells Like Teen Spirit hidden guitar track you'll get it and it's a like high Melody line that goes in the chorus you should check that out that would have been cool to incorporate that I don't know if you have all of those tracks or who put that out or whatever but it's there. This sounds as close to the title bit its in the drums while the kick sounds so close to the inutero kick the rest dont quite hit especially the snare it sounds a tad muffled that aside this was a great listen 🤟

I got the stems for the teen spirit drumtrack and made it more high end to hear the high hats and cymbals and sampled the scentless apprentice beginning but it sounded choppy at first but added a tiny bit of ambience and little reverb to make it sound authentic
