Idk what genres you like, but you should probably look into some newer music by independent artists. Too many people just hear whatever popular shit the corporations are pushing on the tv and radio, and end up writing off all modern music as bland and soulless.

Not to detract from how awesome this is, because it is top notch for sure but.. I've watched it a bunch of times and now I have my doubts that its as clean as is presented. I'm seeing cymbals but not hearing them; little stuff.

I was there as a bassist. All of us had headphones with the same guide track to play in sync. Santiago Ponce, you can find on youtube some video made by the audience, it's been an amazing show and the mix is just a little more clear. OriginalTurgeis, you can't hear cymbals because there was just an overhead microphone every 3/4 drum set

This is what keeps rock alive. This is why rock will never die, it makes people join together as a group, full of emotions. You can feel it through your body, I'm not talking about the music itself, I'm talking about the energy it spreads. This is something unique, something that other music genres cannot recreate. I really don't think there are words to express the sense of belonging I feel watching this video. I'm proud of you people, I hope someday I will be able to come to a concert and have a wonderful day with you.

Listen to the overall undertone. I could swear I could hear kurt singing. Gotta love the law of large numbers. Weird and amazing things emerge from it. To explain, everyone is singing as close as they can, with their own voices, to kurt, but none of them is perfect. However, once you average it all together, all their voices pivot around the same point, they are all trying to sound like kurt, so the result is 1000 people who seem to be creating the voice of kurt cobain where it didn't exist among a single one of them.

The best thing about Rock is it’s never one-dimensional. There are many different forms of rock. Country rock, Blues rock, Alternative rock, and Pop rock is just a few of the many sub genres Rock carries. Edit: There’s also Acoustic Rock which personally I think deserves more love and appreciation.
