You are definitely a gentleman my friend! Sophie Labbé was not the perfumer for Uomo Intense. It was Olivier Polge. He said he wanted to create what Dior Homme Intense should have beeen. He was also the original perfumer of Dior Homme. I really like this one a lot! It’s a real shame they discontinued it.

Olivier Polge created Valentino Uomo Valentino, but Uomo Intense was indeed created by Sophie Labbé (as well as Noir Absolu, and Acqua)

my experience with VUI has been different. when i wore this last year in the colder months (probably 3-4 sprays around the neck area) a coworker of mine said he would smell it through his mask. longevity for me as i remember it has also been good, with the scent lasting throughout the work day, and i could still somewhat smell it in the evening.

Absolutely love your work AC. I have both Valentino Intense and Dior HI and I prefer Dior. But I get more compliments when I wear Valentino, both are absolutely outstanding fragrance.

Good nose, I now notice the thyme now... This is a 10/10 fragrance for yours truly. , It's very loud for me and never a skin scent. It performs wonderfully for me, even better performance than dhi. Awesome Review!

Perfumer is Sophie Labbe.... DHI in Italian bottle, IMHO it’s a blatant copy of DHI.. Happy to see back to back reviews from you sir. Thank you. Stay safe🤝👍🏼

I've had an Puig version...that one was excellent in projection too...i guess the loreal one is the lacking in performance.....How would you compare this with Givenchy gentleman edp? Thanks.

thank you for a real and non-biased review. also tested batch 62S8OYP wich is a L'Oreal and a 2020 (i think) batch and after 1 hour on clothes is GONE !! yes, GONE ! not worth the 70$ i paid.

@@jajiolatunde9655 Just the batch numbering code would indicate a Puig bottle. L'Oreal has a 7 digit code. You could check Checkfresh.com or Checkcosmetic.net for the date but just looking at 82291 would indicate an August 17, 2018 bottle. 8 is the year and 229 is the 229th day of 2018. As I wrote in a separate longer comment, the deal with L'Oreal didn't take effect until the beginning of 2019. What does it say on the label at the bottom of the bottle or the box? That should state the manufacturer. The box might have a formula code, too which would tell you if Puig reformulated it since its release in 2016. I'm really surprised at how few fragrance fans are aware of the batch dates and formula codes.

The fragrance has changed; When Puig was the producer, it smelled much better: iris, chocolate, coffee, hazelnut; now with L'Oréal, this is all gone !!! Horrible :o(
