I just came across this video so belated birthday greetings & good wishes. I admire your taste, knowledge and excellent descriptions. I was surprised to hear you mention one of my all time favorites, Eau de Balenciaga For Men. I got my 1st bottle in about 1974 and still love it. I have a huge bottle that I found a few years back from an Ebay seller in Europe and it wasn't even that expensive. Also have a 4 oz. bottle which is more than half gone. BTW, another all time favorite is the vintage Givenchy Gentleman (see my reply to Sick Squid below), cheers!

I totally agree with you. I haven't smelled the new G.G. but suspect it bears no resemblance to the original version. I have loved the original G.G. since I first smelled it circa 1973. Fortunately I have a stock of the vintage. The drydown is amazing.
